Benson Street Properties LLC, (BSP) founded in the summer of 2006 by father and son team, Steve and Patrick Kay, BSP has a community-minded attitude when it comes to downtown development. Their vision is to see Downtown Anderson restored to its former glory as a destination and hub of activity.

With ownership in eight downtown store fronts, BSP is geared to spearhead the resurgence of Downtown into a vital, growing and inviting destination.

BSP began their renovation efforts at the former Dixon Ice Cream Shop. As an active member in the Main Street Program (an organization working to promote growth and development in the downtown area), BSP is dedicated to seeing these goals come to fruition. With the collaboration and cooperation of the Main Street Program as well as individual owners, tenants and residents of downtown and the City of Anderson, Downtown Anderson will once again become
"the place to be."
